Ama & Wae Rigging Videos
« on: March 27, 2015, 09:02AM »
New to the forum here, but I've got some videos to share from my old club. I believe this is a Malia they are working on. There are many ways to rig a boat, so don't take this as the only way (but it is the traditional way).

1) 'Iako to ama rigging (peg style)

2) Centerline rigging of the wae.

Thanks Nick!  All the old links to rigging have died somehow so great to have these on there!

Interesting....  I don't think we've rigged any of our boats like that.

This is the Cal-pegged technique.  I'll try and get a peg-less technique on film.

I would agree, how he finishes off the Ama rigging is quite unorthodox.
