Marina paddlers-
Ever wonder what would happen to you if you were injured while paddling or crosstraining?
While we don't often consider the possibility, what if you were injured severely enough that you were unable to speak for yourself? Would your team mates know who to contact in the event of an emergency at practice? It's impossible to keep emergency contact information on each paddler at our fingertips when we are on the water.
Improve your safety as you move into 2009.
Check out this web site:

A simple ID tag can be worn on your shoe or on your wrist or ankle. You can select your information, list medical conditions, and the important emergency contact information.
I wear one on my shoe all the time when I run, and plan to get one to wear on my ankle in the canoe.
It's is a simple safety measure for each of us to take- they cost about 20.00.
