"You will be living in the haole time, and the wise thing to do is to move with the time, because time is a thing that belongs to no one....There's only one thing I ask of you, my children - You are Hawai'i, and I would appreciate that you remain Hawaii"

This chant is basically a chant that was used to bring people to unison in old time
Hawai'i, when they would move large trees down from mountains to the beach to be carved into canoes

Here is the translation:

*Leader*: STAND UP TOGETHER!

*ALL*: STAND IN INTERVALS!

*Leader*: STAND UP TOGETHER!
   HAUL WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!
   UNDER THE MIGHTY TREES!

*ALL*: STAND IN INTERVALS!

*Leader*: STAND UP AMONG THE TALL
   FOREST TREES!

*ALL*: STAND AT INTERVALS!
   STAND AT INTERVALS! AND PULL!
   STAND AT INTERVALS! AND HAUL!
   STAND IN PLACE! AND HAUL!
   HAUL BRANCHES AND ALL!
   HAUL NOW!
   STAND UP!

OK, so being the resident expert in moving trees... shouldn't there be whiskey involved???

Just kidding, guys! I'd love to chant this with you this weekend!

PS-for those unfamiliar, google scottish highland games. Yeah, I used to do that a lot...

if you need pronunciation, just remember this:

a = ah
e = ay
i  = ee
o = oh
u = as in shcool

As far as I'm concerned, that chant is a must before races.  It really raised our energy positively, and made me feel the ohana of the club.
