Title: News from Maui
Post by: tmathews on January 05, 2013, 06:23PM
Hey everybody, I'm in kihei on Maui and just got finished paddling in the season opener for sup, oc-1 & oc-2 with my boyfriend. The race started at the Kihei canoe club and ended at sarento's. not a long race, we did the short course, but a little hard because it was flat the whole way no bumps and the wind in our face. We took second in our division co-ed 50. Yes 50. I know some of you may be thinking it was just resistance training for him but I assure you I gave it my all. Who knows, maybe we would have taken first if we hadn't been out dancing until 1:30 the night before. Don't think I'll ever do that again.  :P

Oops, I was wrong it was open co-Ed. Sweet!! Guess I didn't have to give up the age info.

Congratulations Tara!
If you want to correct that number typo, click on the modify button on the upper right side of your post and change that 50 to 40 :)
Have fun in Maui!
